Meet Dr. Elissa Guerra
Dr. Guerra’s interest in dentistry began in high school where she was exposed to the variety of specialties and was able to meet dentists who welcomed her into the field at such a young age. They encouraged her to pursue dentistry as a career with guidance and kindness. They showed her the kind of dentist she wanted to be to her own patients while inspiring others to pursue this career. She stayed on this journey as it was fueled by a desire to improve her patients’ quality of life, alleviate their pain, and make them feel truly comfortable in their own smiles.
As a new associate dentist, Dr. Guerra’s mission is to expand access to high-quality dental care for everyone. She believes that oral health is intrinsically linked to overall well-being, and she’s committed to educating her patients on this vital connection. She takes a patient-centered approach, tailoring each treatment plan to a patient’s unique needs and concerns. She believes that oral health education is a powerful tool, and is passionate about spreading awareness on its importance.
Dr. Guerra is really looking forward to becoming an active member of her community. She’s excited about the opportunity to engage in outreach programs and collaborate with local organizations to improve public health outcomes. It’s not just about practicing dentistry for her; it’s about becoming a part of this wonderful community and making a positive impact.
When she isn’t in the office, Dr. Guerra enjoys spending time with her fiancé and 3 cats; Grayson, Barry, and Luna! She also loves cooking, painting, going to the movies to catch up on the latest superhero film, and supporting the Astros & the Cougars!
